How long does it take to get my order?
Printing of our canvases is from Thursday to Monday. Preparation and protective coating is done on a Tuesday and prints are shipped on a Wednesday. So if you send an image by 10am on a Monday you should receive it by that following Friday as long as the courier company does not have a problem delivering.
How much are the delivery costs?
Delivery is free and couriered via Berco express whilst photographic prints are sent via speedmail from post office to post office.
Will the print fade or lose colour?
Inks are guaranteed not to fade for 75 years under normal lighting conditions.
Do your canvas prints have a protective coating?
Yes, our canvas prints are sprayed with a special protective coating that will protect them from dusting and cleaning.
What colour profile must I apply to my image?
We work in sRGB. If you send us another colour profile we will convert to sRGB because we are accustomed to get the correct colours sending from prepress to printer using SRGB colour profiles.
Do you offer professional photographers a service?
Yes, we create long lasting relationships and get to know your preferences insuring that we work to your specific requirements. Special online accounts can be set up for our clients.
Do you attach hooks and string or any other type of hanging accessory, or will the client have to do this?
Canvases stretched on a frame have a 3mm backing hardboard with a centred hole drilled in it for easy hanging. The packaged product arrives at your doorstep ready to hang.
What resolution do you print at?
Various materials need to be printed at different DPI (dots per Sq inch) depending on the porosity of the material. Our results are always of the highest quality.
Can you remove blemishes from pictures?
Yes, minor blemishes can be removed, we can also rejuvenate pictures. For images that need a lot of editing an additional fee will be charged.
Can you work from old photographs?
Old photographs, drawings and paintings can be scanned and printed. The results are often better than the original.
What media can you reproduce from?
We can print from colour or black & white negatives, photographs or slides. In fact, if there is an image that needs reproducing, we can do it.
