At PrintWild we give all of our canvases a protective spray that makes them more water vapour resilient.<\/li>\n<li>Very forgiving on image pixelation software. Our RIPs (raster image processors) do a fantastic job of pixel degradation management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here&#8217;s our step-by-step guide on how to frame canvas prints at home. (For those of you who don&#8217;t want to make your own frame, we&#8217;ve got you covered too).<\/p>\n<h2>Making a wooden frame for canvas prints<\/h2>\n<p>Before you get started on your project, we recommended first finding some cheap pieces to test your cut depths and 45 degree angle cutting.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cut the length of the profile 30% longer than the circumference of the frame. In other words, if the picture was 250mm x 250mm, the total would be 1000mm and hence you should have 1300mm of profile available.<\/li>\n<li>Screw the canvas print into the frame profile from the inside of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.printwild.co.za\/products\/canvas-prints\/standard-stretched-canvas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">standard canvas frame<\/a>. There&#8217;s no need to cut a recess.<\/li>\n<li>Measure the canvas height and width at the corners where you see the canvas folds.<\/li>\n<li>Add 2mm extra to our measurements and cut the profile at 45 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble the frame.<\/li>\n<li>Insert the canvas print and secure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>With it now in a beautiful new box frame, you should be able to hang the canvas print directly onto the wall hook without any string needed.<\/p>\n<p>Need extra guidance?
