Goal #001: Celebrate our Printwilders!

Written By Bianca Bouwmeeser Neumann On 10 Jan 2017

One of the greatest joys about working at Printwild is learning about our Printwilders and sharing special journeys through life, together. Not too long ago, we ran a Facebook photo competition where we asked you to submit any wildlife photos you’ve taken on your own, with the winner getting an A2 Canvas prints of their image. The submissions were incredible and inspired us to celebrate you and the adventures you’ve had in 2016.

Leigh-Ann Mitchley Aingworth grabbed the prize with an outstanding image of an innocent hyena pup, looking into the distance while hanging out with a tired mum. Although we rely on random draws, there’s something about every submission that gives us all a newfound appreciation for South Africa’s natural beauty.

From rare sightings of hippos in the heat of battle (Tammy Harding), priceless frames of majestic birds of prey (Shannon Montocchio), stealthy predators like crocodiles (Pat Ladds) and catching the lunchtime rush, even if it is carpaccio of frog leg (Alicia Culverwell), Printwilders have taken wildlife photography to a whole new level of awesome.

There were so many great shots, like the one above as shared by Andries Brink, that we decided to create a Facebook album for you to enjoy each other’s work. If you’re having trouble getting back into the swing of things at work, or if your goal is to get away for a few minutes each day to nourish your own mind and soul, these images from our Facebook photo competition will have you in great spirits in just moments.
