3 Ways to Surprise a Friend with a Photo Gift

Written By Bianca Bouwmeeser Neumann On 23 Oct 2015

Make a friends day by sending them an unforgettable photo gift. Here’s 3 ideas to get you thinking.

Idea number 1: Decorate their desk
Get access to your friends desk when they’re not there, add a cute little photo gift and complete the surprise with streamers, balloons and even confetti and cake!
If their colleagues didn’t know they were celebrating something before, they will now.
Which product?
Stand a 30x30cm Big1s photo block on their desk or shelf, or order a larger framed print for their wall. Full product price list here for more product choices.

Idea number 2: Trip down memory lane
Create a photo collage print (tips here), you can either use your own pics or download some of your friends images from their social platforms. A personal gift will always be treasured, start gathering images from a shared experience or from the moment you met, perhaps a trip you did together or from a time that means something special to only the two of you. Finish this gift up by wrapping it with keepstakes or old momentos (we know you kept that concert ticket!).
Which product?
We love the Black Contemporary Frame for this gift idea, the frame profile suits most image types and it’s a safe bet for most decor themes too.

Idea number 3: Gratitude list
Turn the things you love about your mom, husband, boss or child into a printed gratitude list.
Which product?
Go with a Budget Stretched Canvas print for this gift. It’s not certified archival like our Premium Stretched Canvas prints but is still of exceptional quality, stretched over the same hand-made wooden frame and is suitable for most uses.  You’ll have to go with a Premium Stretched Canvas if you’d like to choose your own border colour/effect (Budget only available with white borders) or if you’re looking for a custom size (Budget only available in standard sizes).

You could also just stick up a loose print with decorators tape!
